Populate Custom Field with the Lead Owner

I am trying to populate a custom field with the Lead Owner's name.  I can only pick Owner Id from the Field Insert picklist.  I don't want the ID, I want the name.  Any ideas?

I will come back and post if I discover anything but I am pessimistic about accomplishing this through anything other than programming.
