JodieB Replicating: "Copy Postal Address to Location AddressCompany Address" function
Does anyone know how I can replicate the "Copy Postal Address to Location AddressCompany Address" link on the "Company Address" section in Accounts.
The Salesforce standard address fields don't work well for us but this function is useful and I can't see how to put it in on custom address fields.

Hello,
Lots of ways to do this. One idea is just a checkbox that says "copy postal to location" and have workflow do the copy. To put the link on the page you can use a custom button, a custom link, or a field that is hacked into being clickable. The logic to move the data can be either some client javascript or apex code depending on how and when you want it to work.
