How to grant access to a task linking to a private contact

Hi guys,

Nobody in my team can see this kind of tasks.

I grant read/write access to them using sharing rules on contacts.

But it doesnt work.

Does anybody know how to let other ppl see this task.

Regards,

Atlantis

Let me understand your issue:-

1. You have given the access level  Public Read - Write

2. Private Contacts are those which donot have an associated Account.

Generally  data linked to private contacts is not visible even if you give public read- write.

So for that you need to go to the profile of the user and there under "Data Administration" give the permission for  "View All".

This should fix the issue faced by you.

Hi Ispita,

Thanks for your answers. It is correct nobody can see any data associated with private contact even public R/W access granted.
