Reports...

Hi ,

 

I have created report depending upon data in my application.

Can i Email the generated report to Administrator or to any other user related tthat application?

You can schedule run report and in this you can add the user to whome you wish to add. But in this regard you should to have this permission of action of Schedule & Run Report feature in Profile level.

 

If you wish to require to send once you can also export the report and send using external mail server as attachement.

 

For Scheduling report:

goto Report Tab->Select report name that you wish to send

         Click on Run Report-> Schedule Future Runs

 

here select Running user name , Email to, Frequency and then click on Save Report Schedule button.

When you will run report for first time, on same page you will find button to schedule report run.

 

Click that button.

 

It will give you option to schedule report runs for future and you will be able to mail the same.
