Best Practice question for partner use of Winter 06 CSS enhancements

Is there a recommendation on referencing the new CSS files for a partner developing a composite application?

Option 1: external reference to the CSS files hosted by salesforce.com?

or

Option 2: download CSS files and host them ourselves as part of the composite app?

it's simpler if you can re-use our CSS files, however in your composite app you
may run into an situation that places your app in one browser domain and the CSS files in another.

if you hit that point, you would then resort to serving CSS from your domain.

please post any details on what you end up doing, we are all learning!
