Search and Create New

My client has requested that I remove these standard left-side Nav items from their SF site. Does anyone know how to do this? Should be easy but I can't find any way to remove them (except from the Home Page)! We have a mix of Stock and VF pages in use.

Hi,

 

You can try out the below options:

 

Option 1. SetUp -> App Setup -> User Inteface -> Sidebar -> Uncheck this checkbox -> "Show Custom Sidebar Components on All Pages" . Sidebar will not be there in all the pages.

 

Option 2. SetUp -> App Setup -> Home-> Home Page alyouts -> Remove "Search" and "Create New" items from that.

We have already done both of these. The issue is with the stock components: Search and Create New. Is there no way to control these?
