API Requests, Last 24 Hours

I was just wondering something abou the "API Requests, Last 24 Hours"....

 

As of right now we have a limit of 5000 api request per 24hr period.

 

Are there any future plans regarding increasing this number? or perhaps having a limit per user in the org?

What edition are you using? This limit adjust to different editions. And if you are a partner, we offer other dev environments that have a higher limit.

We have the Enterprise edition...is that the highest/best edition available?

What do we have to do to become a Partner?

With Enterprise Edition, the limit scales with your users. It's calculated by the number of licenses X 1,000 calls with 5000 as the floor and 1,000,000 as the ceiling.

I have a Free Edition account with 100 Force.com - Free  Licenses.  How can I use maximum API requests (1000 000)?  

Now I have  5 000 max only.
