Between workflow and trigger which will be execute first?

Between workflow and trigger which will be execute first and let me know the explanation.

Salesforce process execution goes like this :

 

1) Page Validations like mandatory fields

2) Validation rules

3) Trigger

4) Workflow

 

When workflow is triggered then it is maintained in queue and is executed in last when all validations, trigger id passed.
