Question regarding: create new contact from a lookup window.

How I got here:

From cases, look-up a contact, click "new".  I would like to edit that page layout but cannot find how to anywhere.  What am I missing?

 

Thanks for any ideas.

Unfortunately that page isn't configurable. In addition, it doesn't have the Account field on it, so Contacts created from this window will not be associated to an Account and will automatically become "private". We had to turn off the functionality and instead provide a quick link on the sidebar to display the Contact page in New mode and in a new window. It's a few extra steps, but at least it works.
