System Log Hangs after Winter 12 Release to Sandboxes

Has anyone else noticed the System Log hanging after the Winter 12 Sandbox release?  In both Chrome and IE the system log seems to peg the CPU @ 50% and the browsers become unresponsive.  Our team is rapidly aproaching development deadlines and this is delaying our progress quite severely.  


Any insights that may resolve would be greatly appreciated!




There are 2 ways to look systems logs 


1) from the administrative setup-> Data monitoring 

2) Click on system log (on home page) in this case one alternative you can do, click on the clear log button every time after you seen the logs and keep the list of logs empty once you have seen the logs. You will never come acrosss this issue.

For time being, you can switch to your old system debug log if it is going to help you.




It happens the same to me! Now at 100% of CPU.


I understand that my log is really long, but I need it for work. We've a complex logic and working with the old log system is a pain in the a**. One thing that helps in the possibility of Download the log file to take a look at it locally. But it doesen't make any sense to have this new system log in winter 12 if we can't use it :(
