custom SelfService portal

We are developing a custom SelfService portal that makes extensive use of the SalesForce API  using SOAP and PHP. Can anyone suggest a dedicated server IPP that rents Win 2k3 servers in the San Francisco area or a few short hops from SalesForce?

How is your customer portal turning out? We purchased salesforce.com for customer support however the customer portal lacks so much functionality that can not be added that it makes it unusable and we are now looking for customizations or other products.

I'd be intereseted in talking with you more about your customer support portal as something we could purchase from you.

I need some of the following capabilities

  • linking to objects in salesforce.com (look ups)
  • ability for the customer to attach files to an incident
  • adding linking to custom objects and custom fields

We have been in the process of getting ready to launch this site after moving it to a server in San Francisco. Additional functionality beyond the standard supportforce portal includes:
 
 
  • The ability to view and update account information for nominated customers
  • Access to several custom objects for the purpose or tracking RMAs, Software licenses and soon Sales Orders and invoices - all data being stored in SalesForce
  • The ability to show emails related to cases on the case view pages
  • Nonimated users can manage other contacts at the same account
  • Requests for software license updates create opportunities
