Quote with multi currencies?

Hello,

 

I have a question about make quote with different currencies.

 

I have enabled the multi currencies in our org. (main currency is USD, second currency is EUR)

 

For example, I add product01 into the standard price book with USD price.

 

And then, I create an Account, Opporunity and Quote with EUR currency.  After that, I try to add the quote line item, but it's blank, I cannot find the product01 in it.

 

Should I create another product01 with EUR price?

 

So I should add double products in the future?

 

Is it right?

Hi,

 

Possible issue behind this as per my thought is difference between the pricebook selected on opportunity and quote.

 

Lets say if you have created a new opportunity, after that without selecting any pricebook you are creating new quote over  it. Now after that you select a pricebook on opportunity so now you can add products on opp which are entered in the selected pricebook. Now if there is different pricebook selected on quote then only those products will be displayed which have a entery on the selected pricebook.

 

So just for testing do the following steps :

 

1) Create opportunity with standard pricebook selected on it.

2) Create quote from this opportunity

3) Add product to standard pricebook

4) Now search that product for quote line item

 

After this let me know if the product is still not coming on quoteline item.

U need to create US price book and EUR price book , 

 

and then select the price book when quoting the product.

Thanks for the help.

 

When I created the price book, I cannot find the place to select the currency.  I just can select the currency when I create Account, Opportunity and Product.

 

Any suggestion?
