The previous post is correct. You can only reset "Trial" accounts, which are accounts that have never been placed out of "Trial" status. Developer Editions skip the "trial" phase, and therefore have no way to be automatically reset. You will need to manually delete the customizations.

I dont think Developer Edition can be reset.
You need to manually delete all the components that were created in it.
