How to calculate the total days between lead creation and opportunity closed date.

Hi,

I want to create the total no. of days between lead creation and opportunity closed date.

Please share your thoughts.

One idea, create a custom formula field on the lead that tracks the age. Then map that field to an opportunity field, that way you have the value after conversion and you can calculate the additional time till close.

If you don't need to store it permenantly, you can use the Lead Lifetime report, which has both the lead created date & the oppty closed date available.  You can create a formula to show the # days in the report and do any other metrics like averages for a dashboard.
