Get more than one user name by custom Lookup field

Can any one know how can get more than one user name by lookup field.

        I have done it but problem is that l have get success only get one user name.

    but I want more than one user name by look up field then I want to send email and post message on chatter to these user they select by lookup field.

In my opinion, this can not be done on the standard pages. You can develope a visualforce page where you can query the users and show on a page.
