What Editions used in real time?

Hi,

I am New to salesforce.com.

Can anybody help me with the editions used in real time?

Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited. Depends upon the org where you work and how they decide on using SF to their needs. Also depends on the number of licences and also other usage..

You can find lot of Information About Editions on the Chart. They all differ in Level of features Provided.

 

It also depends on one's requirements. However, In my Experience I have seen maximum people using Enterprise Edition.

There are lot of things apart from Storage which are to be considered like, No of Sandboxes , Governer Limits, API Limits, Email Limits etc etc all dependent on Edition.

 

You need to sit down and analyze your business process first then go for an edition. However I am sure enough that in the end it would be Enterprise Edition.
