JeffStevens I have a Quote template. It looks pretty good when building the page, but when I do a Save and Preview, or when I actually select it and generate a PDF, there is no formatting. All of the fields are in the left hand column, with the field label on one line, and the field value on the next line. I've tried it in IE and Chrome - same result.
Anybody else have that issue?

Might have answered my own question.
I was working in my Sandbox, on Summer 12, I just tested it in Production - and the preview looked just fine. So, it must just be something that got broke in the Summer 12 release.
