cant see newly created custom object field in Apex explorer

Hi

 

I am not able to see newly created fields in Apex Explorer in the custom object. I can see those fields through UI and even able to access fields in Apex code but cant locate them in explorer.

What could be the reason?

By default apex explorer uses a fairly old api version, you need to update the settings to a new api version.

Thanks for the reply.

I am using https://test.salesforce.com/services/Soap/u/16.0 but still cant see those fields.

Do I need to do anything else to update API?

It worked with https://test.salesforce.com/services/Soap/u/15.0
