DEV401 Certificate

Hello,

 

   I am actually a .net developer but I am going to self study SalesForce and I need to pass the 401 developer exam. Can you please tell me what and from where I should study? and provide me with any dumps and samples questions please?

I'm also trying to self study as I have tons of experience.

 

I found this link, but I haven't had time to sort through it and find all the reference material mentioned.

There are a very small number of sample questions. I believe I may have some of the reference material already (handed out for free at prior dreamforce).  If you find a good source of material, please post it here!

 

Anyone know if they have questions on the exam that are obviously not answerable unless you had the training?   One of the sample questions scared me in that it mentioned specific examples.  Obviously not being familiar with a particular example "could" make it hard to answer even if you knew the relevant technical concepts if they designed the test that way!

Search on iTunes for the Salesforce Certification - the DEV401 class is recorded and posted in its entirety.

 

Watch and pay attention to all the videos, take notes, learn from the Q&A sessions.

 

Read and learn the most recent Cons201 study release notes.

 

You'll pass - I know from experience. You don't complete the study, you'll fail - I know that from experience, too.

 

It's 30-40 hours of your life whether you study and pass the first time or end up studying to pass the second time.

 

Everyone I know who's passed Dev401 has been this route.
