How to export contacts that have notes and attachments

Hi,

 

I need to export all of our contacts in SF that have notes and attachments.  Is there a simple way to do this?

Could you please elaborate on where would you like to export all your contacts that have notes and attachments? Would it be another application or database or file system?

Ok, please elaborate:

1. Contacts. What fields (information) should be exported to Excel?

2. Notes. Should be exported only Title and description?

3. Attachments. Only attachment name can be exported to Excel (e.g. Proposal.pdf)

4. What is your SF Edition?

You can use SFDC's Data Export Service to get all Contacts, Notes and Attachments.  Check out the help section on "Exporting Backup Data" to find the details.  I believe there is a cost to this if you are using Professional, although you may be able to negotiate with your sales rep if it's a one time request.
