Support to HL7

I am working on a application where I need to import HL7 messages from different applications.

Does salesforce support HL7 functionality.

Has anybody worked on it.

Also let me know if there is any third party tools available for this.

Hi, did you get any reponse to this? I have just had a project ran by me that includes capturing HL7 messages into Salesforce.com

HL7 messaging to/from Salesforce is possible and has been done before.  Integration engines, such as Mulesoft and Jitterbit, are used to translate the HL7 data to load into Salesforce. HL7 is definately doable through the platform. Some more info here:
