Database.com BLOB/Files attachment

Hi,

What is the best way to store large files, or blob objects (5M-100MB) in the custom object on Database.com (not force.com)?

Is there a built in support for that or we need to integrate with external storage, like S3?

No, you can't store these files in an object.  I'm not sure which of Salesforce's document storage offerings are fully available on database.com but I can probably assure you it won't be cost effective to keep them there and I doubt you'll have the kind of API access you'll need.  

 

S3 is definately the way to go.
