Deprecate most recent released version Managed package

Hi all,

   I want to deprecate the most recent released version in managed package in Managed-release type. because i want to delete this package completely. but in this version deprecate button always disable status. how to deprecate this..

Hi ,

Its not possible to deprecate the most recent version/ current version, salesforce does not allow that. The only way to deprecate it is to release a higher version and then deprecate the penultimate version, but it may not serve your purpose. You perhaps want to elimate few components of your package, the best way forward would be to deprecate the components and then release a higher version and then delete the penultimate version.
