add forecast object to console layout

Is there a way to add forecast tab/object into the console layout. I would like to add opportunity and forecast tab in one console layout for user ease of use.

 

Let me know if anyone done this in the past.

Not that I know of.  The Console only shows objects, and a forecast is not an object, it's more like a report or a dashboard (which also don't show up in the console).

The forecast tab is not supported in the Console.
