API Access for Professional Edition ?

Hi,

 

I have the Professional Edition and when I try the login API i get the following error 'API_DISABLED_FOR_ORG: API is not enabled for this Organization or Partner'.

 

I am using PHP to access the API.

 

Which edition will I need, or is there some setting I need to enable to make it work ?

Hi,

 

By default, API is disabled in SF Professional. You can enable it if you contact SF representative, but they will charge you for it. 

 

API is enabled in Developer, Enterprise and Unlimited editions.
