Talend - Async API not enabled

I am creating a talend job using a UE sandbox and getting API not enabled

 

Exception in component tSalesforceBulkExec_1
[AsyncApiException  exceptionCode='FeatureNotEnabled'
 exceptionMessage='Async API not enabled'
]

 Any ideas?

The org creation date is post Bulk API - thinking this could be the issue.
