Error: Name column must be mapped when solely inserting records

Hi,

I received above error while importing data from csv file to my object. I don't have 'name' column in my source file, neither in destination.

What is the reason for above error?

Thnx in advance.

Hello Sharad,

By default each object in the Salesforce has a Name as a standard field. And that field is required. You can convert that field to autonumber in the Salesforce or other way will be creating a extra column in CSV and putting a auto number or any specific value to that column.
