Customer Database

Looking to leverage SF's CRM to house and manage all of our customer databases with the ability to see one view of all customer activity.  Not sure where to start.  All suggestions welcome.  Thx...

Your best bet is to engage with a Salesforce.com Consulting Partner.

Where are you based?

My suggestion is to start by taking a good look at your current databases. What information do two or more have in common? What information is unique to one? What information do you want to preserve in SalesForce? What information do you no longer need? Knowing what you can leave out is as important as knowing what to include.

Identify the what type of activities of customers you needed. Saleforce.com provides some default reports on your data that is customers. You can create your own reports/dashboards.

We have done plenty of them. If you need further assistance. I am morethan happy to help you. reach me at engage@trekbin.com
