Localisation for Salesforce sites

Hello,

 

Is it possible to support localisation for Salesforce sites?

I have not enforced login criteria in the sites. Users can directly access sites through url without logging into the system.

 

Localisation is an urgent requirement of my project.

Please help.

If you are using field labels/custom label etc on site then you can translate it to any language using translation workbench.

 

But if there is any harcoded string on site then you need to enter the data in the specific language and site will not get localized automatically.

But the point is when we access the system through sites without logging in, how the system will read user's profile language and thus translate to the specified language?

Don't think this is possible yet. And if we talk about any site other than salesforce site, we need to translate it using third party like google etc..

 

This is not my forte so we can also wait for any salesforce admin/expert to reply on this.
