Opportunity Data to New Account

We have a need to create a new (child) Account when the Opportunity stage is changed to "Closed/Won". At the very least, we want to avoid the rep having to manually create a new Account record by typing core data from the Opportunity. Any thoughts? Thx. Ed

Thanks D74...I'll have to research that suggestion! Haven't learned how to use Triggers yet, but this will be my motivation.

Do you want to create the account immediately.. if not just try the functionality of analytical snap shot. create a report of closed opportunities and the same data is written into a new object using the analytical snap shot.
