Allow access to view records only by the owner of record and assigned user

Hi,

Since chatter users dont have access to cases, I am developing a ticketing system.

I need to restrict the view of tickets created only to the owner of the record and an assigned user. Would this be possible?

Hi Prady,

You can check under the concerned profiles if for this.

If you revoke the rights provided under the columns of "data administration" you can probably limit the visibility only to the creator of the record. Also for that you need to the set the org wide visibility of the object to private.

Though one must state that the system is not designed to sheild the record from some who has been assigned the same. still you can check this route.
