Verification code

Hey guys,

Is there a way to turn off the verification code that you receive, when you log in with a new computer from a different IP?

Thank you!

Hi,

Yes if you define a range of IP address as trusted IP addresses then whenever you login via those IP address the system will not prompt you for the verification code.

Hope this helps....

Hi,

Thank you for your reply!

I looked into that, but is there a way to just turn it off?

Thank you

No that's a security feature.... But you can avoid that if you make your network IP as Trusted.

For that ->   SEtup -Security - Network Access

Under this the list contains IP address ranges from sources that your organization trusts. Users logging in to salesforce.com with a browser from trusted networks are allowed to access salesforce.com without having to activate their computers. If you want to avoid verification  add your IP here...
Hope this answers your query ....
