How do I view "Items to Approve" list on my homepage

Hi All,

 

I have an Approval Process created for my custom object.

I am assigned as an Approver for the same.

 

I want to know, are there any settings to enable myself to see "Items to approve" list on my Homepage?

 

Any help will be great.

Hi,

Items to Aprrove is already enabled on the homepage. In case it is not seen, you can do it.

 

Go to 

 

Setup | App setup | Home | Home Page Layout

 

Select the deault homepage (or any custom homepage you have enabled.)

 

On Edit Home page layout,

 

in the section 'Select Wide Components to Show'

 

Check on 'Items to approve'

 

It will be shown on your homepage.

 

However, in my case it was by default on. So you better check if it is present.

How can non-administrators see "Items to Approve" list? As as admin, when I login to sfdc instance, I can go to Setup | App setup | Home | Home Page Layout but this is not what I get when I login as a standard user.

 

Even if I enable "Show Custom Sidebar On All Pages" for the standard user profile, the standard user does not see the "Home Page Layout" option. Can you please suggest how to enable this approval list for standard user profiles?
