Inquiry: User Login Access

Hi,

 

I just would like to inquire if there is a way i can restrict a user to login to salesforce only to one specific computer?

This means, she can only login on her work station and hinders her from loging in when she's outside of the office.

Check out this documentation from Help & Training - https://help.salesforce.com/HTViewHelpDoc?id=admin_loginrestrict.htm&language=en_US or search for "Setting Login Restrictions" in help and training.  You can limit the IP ranges from which users can login at the profile level and you could also specify the login hours that they are allowed to access the system (ex. 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).

You can easily do that by resticting IP.As below

click Your Name | Setup | Security Controls | Netwrk Access and then set IP of your  computer network access.

 

to get IP of your goto Google and type what is my IP and use it.
