Report Date Range

Hi,

 

I want to create a report that can show data over the last 180 days or 6 months. Right now salesforce limits me to 120 days is there a way to do this?

As per my knowledge there is no limits as you mentioned 120 days..

we can  use Date Range

Reports->Report Name->Edit-> Properties->Date Field

Range set to All Time-> From date to TO Date

That would mean I have to hard code the dates. I dont want to do that. I want the last 6 months

which report you are creating ? did you tried using the custom time frame ?
