Reach Admin Can't figure out how to make a Custom Field appear in the "Aggregate" picklist for a Rollup Formula
I created a custom field at the opportunity product level called "Year 1 summary". It's a number calculated off other things. Can't seem to get it to appear in the Aggregate Picklist when I create a Roll Up Summary field at the opportunity level.
Any Advice would be appreciated.
you can't use formula fields to build up standard rollup fields.
You need to create a physical field (number) and then you could use a workflow to calculate that field (if the fields used in the calculation are in the same object otherwise you need a trigger to do that calculation). Then you can rollup that field to the Opportunity level.
