How can i restrict the records of a perticuler custom object?

HI,

 

How can i restrict the records of a perticuler custom object , Other user allow to see.User can see the custom object but he or she cant able to see the records.how can i approch ?Kindly let me know asap.

Hi,

you can make the setting for that object as private on OWD setting, below is the steps through which you can do this

Setup-->Security Controls-->Sharing Settings-->Click on edit button-->then chose private for that object
