Merge Custom Records

Hi,

 

I want to merge records on Custom objects. Does anybody ever try to create a merge wizard with the look and feel of Salesforce standard merge function?

I have not personally, but the merge wizard isn't a horribly complex operation.  Your largest undertaking will be creating the VF page that will list out each field to display the values.

DemandTools has a feature that does this already. You might look into it.
