activities with contacts report type?

why i dont see the 'related to' field for task or event when im using this report in report builder?

You can make this field visible by editing it's report Type layout.

If I understand correctly, when you do an Activities report, the RELATED TO is not visible as this relationship comes from the report data type that you select. For example: if you select Activities with Opportunity, it will by default have Related to as Opportunities. Similary, if you select Activities with Accounts, it will by default have Related to as Accounts

 

However, if you select your report type as Tasks and Events, then you will be able to see the Related To field.

Im using the report type "Activities with Contact" and using this report type i want to get the information from campaign because our activities is related to campaign. Now upon building report using "Activities with Contact" report type it so happen that the "Related to" field is not visible on report builder.

 

 

I dont want to use the "Activities with campaigns" because i need also to get the infos from contacts thats why i choose to use "activities with contacts"

Have you considered using Joined Reports? Since you need Activities with Contacts as well as Activities with Campaigns both, you may want to create 2 separate reports and join them using Contact as the link between the two.

joined report might be the closer option but the two block should group by "related to" and i cant do it because "related to" is not visible in report builder :-(
