Changing label of Opportunity related list on Account

Hi,

 

By default, Opportunity related list on Accounts shows the label "Opportunity". Can I change it to something else without changing the name of Opportunity Object. Itself ?

Hi,

 

We can change thru Translation Workbench feature.

Setup->Administration setup->Translation Workbench->Override

select CustomField from setup Component picklist

select the object name

Aspect: Related list label

you 'can give custom specific name under "related list label Override" column .

 

It 'll help you.

hi nbk,

there is no such option called "override" in my setup tools.

only options available are:

Translation Settings

Translate

Export

Import

You can create a Visualforce page that will display the list of opportunities for a given account. This can have your preferred section name.

In the page layout for account, add this visualforce page, and remove the standard opportunity related list.

If you login as as System Administrator you will find the option called "Override". May I know which edition you are using
