Hi,

 

For creating a formula field in account object follow the below steps:

 

  1. Your name->setup-> Customize-> Accounts-> Fields
  2. Click on new button
  3. Select formula in step 1 as Data Type
  4. Click on next button
  5. Enter the  and Field Name
  6. Select return type of formula field
  7. Click on next button
  8. Specify formula criteria and follow the steps.
