Is there any way to change Customer portal username

Hi all,

 

 I have created customer portal, here by default username is taken as mail address. Is there any way to change the username as ordinary name instead of mail id.

Hi,

 

In salesforce every user name is saved in email id format. You can’t change it as ordinary name.

But you can override the custom portal header .In header you can display the name of portal user.

No, Actual need is not change the portal header. I want to change username as none email id format. Are there any procedure / way for this?
