updating opportunity stage for standard user

Hi All

I am experiencing a small issue with the opportunity stage.My Standard user are not able to update the opprtunity state to closed won or closed lost in the stage.Feild levels are open to them and there is also no validation rule active.There are several other members on picklist and they are able to see them.Its just that these two feilds are missing in the picklist.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.Thanks a Lot.

Hi,

 

There must be the Sales process on opportunity and record type assigned to trhe profile of Standard user does not have that picklist value.

 

Please check the picklist value defined for that Sales process / Record Type.

thanks a lot for posting this and helping me out.Can you explain a bit more.So do you refer to marketing profile as a sales process..?I couldn't figure out how to change the record type in sales Process.
