New application to capture SF contacts

Hi all,

 

I'm totally new in SF. Excuse me if the question is being posted.

How can I develop an application, where SF users can login and view their contacts?

Is this possible to be done with Customer Portal and Sites?

Hi Nick,

 

I'm not sure I follow. You want a public website where any person (or just your company employees) can login and view their own contacts? If you set sharing rules, then you can have each user only see their own contacts.

 

If you want this accessible to any person, then you would need Sites and Customer Portal to manage every new users who comes to your website.

Actually I created an App, and add custom tabs with pages to it!
