Customizing Lead Convertion

Does anyone have sample custom Lead Conversion VF page? If you have can you pls share?

Have a look at this. I guess there are some URL parameters that can be used and if you are lucky you can avoid VF pages.

Can't we create any new VF page for Custom Lead conversion and override Lead Convert button?
