ryyh Salesforce to Salesforce / Connecting Production to Sandbox
is it possible to do a salesforce to salesforce connection between a production org and a sandbox org?
when creating a connection from production to sandbox i've tried changing the connection link from "login.salesforce.com" to "test.salesforce.com" but i get a
"Salesforce to Salesforce: Partner org is not active and no API calls are allowed"
But both sandbox and production are Enterprise orgs with plenty of API calls still left for the 24 hours period. i have used the api to push data into both.
I’m getting the same error and found no documentation...FYI... Im doing force.com to an Enterprise Sandbox...I’m curious how to remedy this error or if you were correct.

I don't see in the documentation (nor am I having any luck poking around the device) how to set SalesForce mobile to point to (connect to) https://test.salesforce.com when running from an Android device - the instructions for Windows Mobile, Blackberry, and iPhone do not seem to apply (there is no Menu | System Info on the activation screen, and there is no Settings | Salesforce | Transport URL at least that I can find).
Nevermind, I figured it out. It was simply that I wasn't used to the device interface and how to get to "Preferences" - once I got that figured out it was simply
After launching SalesForce mobile
1. Click (press) on the Preferences tool action (a grid looking image) to get to the application's "Settings"
2. Then go to the Server option and change to Sandbox

I am getting this error when connecting from one sandbox to the other sandbox.
"Salesforce to Salesforce: Partner org is not active and no API calls are allowed"
I jhave tried multiple times but end up in the same error. Please let me know if you found the solution.

so connecting from sandbox to production will not work
