Login hours Administration

New to the Community.  Hello!

 

I can't seem to find any documentation as to what happens if a user logs in at 4:30 pm and OWD for login hours is set to  5:00 pm.  If the user is still logged in at 5:01 p.m., what happens?  

 

Can't seem to find the answer anywhere.  Thank you in advance!

The session established before 5:00 pm will stay active untill the user logs out. The log in restrictions works in such a way that it will not create a new session after log in hours.

 

Same is applicable for login IP ranges as well

Thanks!  Just to clarify- as long as the user logs in before business hours are over, they can work freely without being logged out?  They will never be prompted that their session is ending due to business hours?

No. Users neither get forced log out nor prompted with login screen at the end of business hours.
