Reporting on Account Teams

Hi

 

I want to create a report that will show me when there are changes at the Account Team level. I know there is not a history on that object, does anyone have any ideas on how I can report on it or create an analytic snapshot to help me show how many times account team members are changing?

Hello Nancy,

 

Unfortunately as of now there is no option available for tracking changes is Account teams. I would suggest you following work around:

 

A custom object to model Account Team Members, which lets you have triggers.

Replace Account Team Related List with a custom VF section, which controls all user interaction and can therefore fire off an update to the Account to maybe trigger an outbound message, or make a ws-callout itself. This is assuming all Account Team interactions are via the UI rather than via the API.

The Streaming API (not sure about specifics, but wonder if this is an option)
