From Address Workflow

Hi All,

 

Was wondering if this question has already been tackled.

 

Is it true that the 'from' address in the email alert triggered by workflow rule is set to the user who last modified the record to run the rule and trigger the email alert?

You can configure workflow alerts to be sent from (a) the user that modified the record, (b) the default workflow user, or (c) an organization-wide email address. So, "yes" is partially correct, just be aware that there are three different choices.
