Dataloader Error:Close date greater than todays date

when i try to migrate the opportunity, they throw an error that

 

close date greater than todays date

 

if any body knows the answer for this please let me know

Hello Patcs

I think when you are migrating Opportunity the opportunities whose status is "Closed" have closed date greater than curren date which is in your organization. So salesforce would not allow to enter it since CLosed Date should be older than current date. Just modify the close date field to older date and then give a try.
